This work presents a dark and dramatic effect in hope to capture and emphasize the horrific events in our present times that shows our “…capacity todestroy ourselves” and system behind the richest states that,” have [the] right, but no one else has” (Chomsky 2013). Unlike the mythology of hybrids in Greek and Roman art, I recycled the original belief of shared traits into the oppression of man’s destruction. Once deconstructed, a new viewpoint was formed around broken and domesticated animals that at some degree can mock the visual pleasure enforced artificially by the media and fashion industry in order to sustain the consumption of consumerism.
